Edit: It went well....very well. The new managers are doing an amazing job of updating and modernizing the entire resort. They are remodeling cabins, replacing furniture and windows. There is cable TV and internet in every cabin. A major clean-up is in progress. Crack up, fine job, greatly appreciated. If you haven't been here lately you don't know what you are missing. Keep up the good work. We'll be back.
We only stopped for some supplies but couple present was very nice and pleasant. Prices very manageable
Ever had a home made ice cream sandwich? This place make them. I've been coming here since the 1950's for ice cream sandwiches. Stop for this if nothing else. Well worth it. I've also been staying at this resort since then. It is magical here. The fishing is great. There is access to small as well as big lakes. Only drawback is no lift bridge for my sailboat. It is under new management as of this year so we'll see how it goes.
Our group of 8 stayed here the second week after walleye opener. The new owners are fantastic people. They do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. Fishing was great, weather was great. We had 2 fish frys plus everyone took home a limit of walleyes. Resort great for families or groups of guys. Staying here you still have lots of places to fish even if its too windy on big lake. Super fishing for sunfsh and crappies too.
Very awesome resort. Very nice owners and great fishing lake.
Get time and great service. And caught are share of them walleye.
