Very well run and fun family resort. We stayed in cabin #11 which was clean and very comfortable. Here are some nice things I found about this resort: they come and collect garbage daily, they switch out all your bath towels mid week for clean ones, gorgeous sand beach, fun kid activities, great fishing, beautiful grounds, extremely helpful and gracious hosts, attentive dock boys. We'll be back next year with a bigger group! So much fun:)
Our parents left money in their will for us to have a family reunion at their favorite fishing resort, Eagle Nest. The accommodations were modern, clean, with great WIFI in our cabin that held about 15 of us. We had bedrooms for all of us. The water was always hot and the Internet speeds were great. Something that many resorts in the middle of Minnesota don't have. Great job, Eagle Nest!
Great family resort. Excellent beach and lots of toys for the kids. If you are looking for a place to take the kids for a family vacation in the North Woods this is magnificent. The sunsets are to die for. The fishing is great, the sailing is even better. The owners are second or third generation and know how to run a resort. Lots of evening activities for the kids including campfires, marshmallow roast, ice cream sundae parties. They will keep the kids busy while you get to relax with a cold one. One of the best resorts in the area on a fantastic lake.
This Lodge has great and helpful staff. It is a great place to spend time with family. My family has been coming up here annually for 4+ years and we have a great time. They have plenty of activities to do while your here. We usually go fishing and the staff are very helpful with helping us at our dock, putting gas in the boat, docking the boat, and bringing us bait when we need some. It is a beautiful location for time with family and friends.
Absolutely the best resort hosts I have ever spent time with! We hired Gunner to take us fishing to learn the lake and we absolutely killed the Walleye and Pike! My 4 kids had a blast in the lake on all the toys and the trampoline raft. The cabins were clean and comfortable for our family of 6. Jesse the dog would stop by and visit us on occasion. We will definitely be spending more summer vacations at Eagle Nest Lodge once we knock a couple more things off our bucket list!! Cannot wait to go back!!
